Boyer & Ritter announces 14 promotions
CAMP HILL, PA – Boyer & Ritter is proud to celebrate 14 promotions, including two new Directors, five new Managers, and seven new Senior Associates.

Promoted to Director:
Casey Surridge
Casey Surridge is a CPA and a member of the firm’s Dealership Group. Surridge earned a BSBA and MAcc in Accountancy from Bloomsburg University. He initially worked for Boyer & Ritter between 2013 and 2017 and then worked as the controller for LB Smith Ford Lincoln before returning to the firm in 2022.
Scott A. Koman
Scott A. Koman, CPA, CVA, CFE, MAFF, is a key member of the firm’s Advisory Services Group with emphasis in providing forensic accounting and business valuation services. He earned a BS in Business Administration, majoring in accounting and minoring in economics and marketing, from Bloomsburg University. Koman joined Boyer & Ritter in 2015.
Promoted to Manager:
Kathryn J. Clark
Kathryn Clark is a member of the firm’s Small and Entrepreneurial Business Practice Group. Her emphasis is in tax and small business, providing tax and accounting services for businesses and individuals. Clark earned a BS in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Susquehanna University. Clark began working for the firm as a seasonal part-time tax preparer in 2018 before taking a full-time position in 2022.
Charles Sabol
Chuck Sabol is a CPA and a member of the firm’s Tax Practice Group and works with the Construction practice group, advising clients of various sizes on tax matters. He earned an MBA and BSBA in Accounting from Shippensburg University. Sabol joined Boyer & Ritter in 2020.
Charles H. Evans, IV
Chip Evans is a CPA who works with clients in various industry groups, primarily focusing on automotive dealerships. Evans earned a BBA in Business Administration, Accounting, and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University, where in 2013, he was among the top 2 percent of freshmen recognized with a Phi Kappa Phi Collegiate Honor Society Award. Evans joined Boyer & Ritter in 2017.
JohnCarlos R. Tavares
JohnCarlos R. Tavares is a CPA and a member of the firm’s Nonprofit Practice Group. He also has experience working with privately held businesses. He earned a BS in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University. Tavares joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018.
Jacqueline Yoder
Jacqueline Yoder is a member of the firm’s Automotive Dealerships practice group. She earned a BS in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University. Yoder joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018.
Promoted to Senior Associate:
Nicole Harmon
Nicole Harmon earned an MS in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and a BS in Marketing and Advertising from York College of Pennsylvania. Harmon joined Boyer & Ritter in 2022.
Amar Peco
Amar Peco earned a BS in Accounting from Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ, and an associate degree in science and biology from County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. Peco joined Boyer & Ritter in 2023.
Alexis Aucker
Alexis Aucker earned a BS in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University. Aucker interned with Boyer & Ritter in the summer of 2021 and joined the firm in 2022.
Chase Carpenter
Chase Carpenter earned a BS in Accounting and Management from Shippensburg University, graduating with honors. Carpenter interned with Boyer & Ritter in 2021 and joined the firm in 2022.
Kylaiya Iles
Kylaiya Iles earned a BS in Accounting from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Iles joined Boyer & Ritter in 2022.
Jack Celmer
Jack Celmer earned a BS in Accounting and Information Technology, with a Security Risk and Analysis minor from The Pennsylvania State University. Celmer joined Boyer & Ritter in 2022.
Rita Gambino
Rita Gambino earned a BS in Accounting from Penn State University and minored in Information Systems and Technology. Gambino interned with Boyer & Ritter between 2022 and January 2024 before joining the firm full time this year.
